REGION LIST

PIEMONTE

It has the largest number of DOCG in Italy. They mainly produce good aging potential reds such as Barolo and Barbaresco. Also, Gavi is the famous white from the region.

LOMBARDIA

Widely known for producing good quality Fanciacolta and supmante. Franciacolta is made with the same method of Champagne.

VENETO

The largest white wine production area in Northern Italy. Soave Superiore is widely consumed as a daily white wine in Italy.

FRIULI VENEZIA GIULIA

Excellent white wine production region where winemaking technology is remarkably developed in recent years. They produce unique wines from native grapes.

TOSCANA

The largest wine production region in Italy. Chianti Classico and Brunello di Montalcino are well known wines from the region.

ABRUZZO

Grows mainly Trebbiano for whites and Montepultiano for reds.

SICILIA

New winemaking technology has been developed and wine production is one of the largest industry in the region. Ageable reds made from Nero d'Avola have been drawing attention from wine fans.
